Melanie and I recently camped for three wonderful days at Ripplebrook Camp, in the Mt Hood National Forest, near Estacada, Oregon.
http://www.tripleblaze.com/2/5783/Campgrounds/Ripplebrook.html We had mostly beautiful weather, and enjoyed great camp food (Hobo Stew!) and hikes through the lush, moss carpeted forest surrounding our camp site. I did a bit of sketching while there ~ she enjoyed a bit of knitting, and we both luxuriated in the pure pleasure of being out in the middle of a truly beautiful forest.
